Karaj municipality supervisor said that there is a heated argument over the future of cities, but the most important element is citizen participation.
Mohammad Reza Ahmadinejad in an interview with KUMNS said that there is no clear distance for urban future. He added that the truth is that cities are growing bigger and it is not an easy job to build a solid infra structure in short time. Mohammad Reza Ahmadinejad pointed to the fact that even state infra structure depends highly on the ups and downs of city population.
He added that it doesn't mean that cities cannot be changed slowly, but successful cities are those which curb the elements contribute in lowering the quality of life.
In the end, Mr. Ahmadinejad went on to say that citizens' contribution in urgent decisions can be a main source of innovation and inspiration.
